The replacement rear engine hanger we offer was designed out of necessity. We were looking for a suitable replacement, but being the Mazda unit is no longer available meant we would have to go aftermarket.

One thing to keep in mind, we generally intend to put any product that goes onto our cars to good use. This means that we are looking for parts that are made of suitable materials. Cutting corners, or simply trying to replicate an OEM installation, oftentimes brings along negative consequences.

With that, we sought out to design and manufacture our own solution. After test fitting a prototype that we designed/printed in house, we were more than pleased with the result and went off to production.

As for the hardware, well we have 3 options:

- Socket Head Screw; Class 12.9, 6mm Hex Drive (Shown)
- Low-Profile Socket Head Screw; Class 8.8, 5mm Hex Drive
- Flanged Hex Head Bolt (FHHB); JIS Class 10.9, 12mm Hex Head

Any of the hardware options we offer is suitable for this application, and choosing the one for you is just a matter of what works for you best. To the best of our knowledge, the OEM Mazda hardware is comparable to that of a Class 8.8.
